Cabanas Guesthouse Testimonial

Testimonial from our www.PinkChoice.com  customer reviews.

Great Hosts
The moment you enter the gates of The Cabana Guest House & Spa you automatically start to relax. Our first impression, someone takes a lot of time and care of this oasis. Every where you looked you saw lush green plants and flowers and spotless grounds, true to the pictures on their web site. We were early our first day at The Cabana Guest House, however the front desk manager “Dave” was very friendly, took us on a tour, showed us a changing room and told us to relax by the pool and he would come and let us know when our room was ready and he did. John, one of the owners was there each day with his partner Paul, both always with a smile and ready to answer any questions or offer suggestions to local haunts. Our room was very clean and close to the dock where we enjoyed our coffee each morning. The Continental Breakfast was great too! We liked the fact you could eat outside at one of the many cafe tables or on the dock. They also, provide Kayaks and Bicycles and we did both. The Spa was a great touch also and we had a wonderful massage towards the end of our stay. With two pools, hot tub, steam-room, spa and dock you have plenty of room to roam the grounds. If you have never stayed here before, we highly recommend that you give it a try. It is possibly the cleanest, most enjoyable accommodation in Wilton Manors. We look forward to our next stay and many more after that. Thanks guys for making our eight day stay one of the best ever. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the review Joe, We look forward to your next visit.

Sincerely, The Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa

The Manor on Wilton Drive

galaThe Manor is located on Wilton Drive and is a complete multi-level food and entertainment complex unlike anything else this area. The Manor features a lounge, a nightclub, a martini bar, a banquet/meeting facility, a coffee shop and restaurant and is using a totally remodeled space that was previously Flowers Restaurant and its neighbors. An entire second floor has been added to the building.

The Manor is the brainchild of prominent businessmen and real estate developers, Paul Hugo and Brett Tannenbaum. Hugo’s previous nightclubs locally included 825 and The Saint. Together they were responsible for the Coliseum nightclub and they owned several restaurants in the area.
Along with Hugo and Tannenbaum, the management team consists of Gary Santis and Jason Tamanini.

Santis is a nightclub and promotions guru who got his start twenty years ago in the famed Warsaw Ballroom on South Beach. He moved to Fort Lauderdale where he propelled nightclubs like The Saint, Pier, Coliseum and JetSet to mega-club status and the trend-setting establishments of their time. Santis also promoted the weekly Sunday event at VooDoo Lounge, “Babylon T-Dance” for years and owns and promotes two of the largest annual gay events in Fort Lauderdale: “The White Fort Lauderdale Event” and “The Black Fort Lauderdale Event”.

Working with Santis will be Jason Tamanini as Operations Director who will be responsible for ensuring that the “consumer experience” is second to none in all areas of the complex. Together they will be designing and bringing to life fresh innovative events and concepts.

Tamanini was part of the food and beverage team at the Trump Taj-Mahal in Atlantic City, worked in several restaurants in the area and became general manager of China White Lounge in Fort Lauderdale. Most recently Tamanini was managing South Beach’s Halo Lounge on Lincoln Road and has been responsible for overseeing the Halo Lounge in Washington, D.C.

Chef Brent M. Sick takes over as culinary master for The Manor. Chef Brent is a graduate of the prestigious International Culinary Institute of Pennsylvania. He moved to South Florida from Orlando where he was executive chef of two of American’s top ten busiest restaurants in the country, Fulton’s Crab House and Wolfgang Puck’s in Downtown Disney.
The chef plans to bring some of his signature offerings to The Manor. “Conceptually, I re-created the restaurant’s unique atmosphere through the house and tapas menus,” he said. “It has a little bit of some of the best things I have done running some of the most successful restaurants in the United States. I am very, very excited to be a key player in such a new and ambitious season for South Florida, Fort Lauderdale, and more importantly, Wilton Manors.”

Inside The Manor, you’ll be able to enjoy:
The York Restaurant – a bright and vibrant restaurant as exciting as its food. People-watching will be available outside on the Alfresco Colonnade which will be perfect for casual dining. Inside will be a crisp-chic casual experience complete with a baby grand piano. Whether dining inside or out, The Manor is promising outstanding food and service.
The Windsor Martini Bar will be the perfect place to enjoy classic martinis along with the latest trend in blended martinis. The servers are being specially trained by global martini experts to produce amazing handcrafted cocktails. Perfect for meeting someone and enjoying a cocktail before or after dinner.

Coffee Talk is the coffee shop that will be offering a selection of exceptional desserts, gelatos, quality roasted coffees, cappuccinos, espressos, teas and after-dining cordials throughout the day or evening. Free wi-fi Internet will be available.

The Epic Nightclub is a combination of vintage style and cosmopolitan sophistication. This two-level nightclub has four chandeliers, a covered outside arcade with a Polynesian flavor, a large performance stage and the best lighting and sound system available anywhere. There is also a VIP room for guests looking to go the extra mile.

The Ivy Lounge and Patio will host a variety of musical stylings throughout the week. Ever-changing soothing lights illuminate the ceiling. The room is also used as banquet facility offering complete catering and beverage service for private affairs.
